I wanna say thank you to Christina and Chandler especially Chandler for his immense patience with me lol and Christina for giving me valuable input about how some of the clothing work and can work for you. Great variety and a lot I can work with, they were extremely helpful and i’m glad I stopped by. Appreciate y’all!

The friendly and helpful customer service within this shop was just next level. From the amount of variety of gear, underwear, and more was just absolutely incredible that almost everything had my jaw dropping to the floor. I was so memorized and having people who knew their products was just so helpful, too because I'm still learning. I had an absolutely great time that I mostly there was so much I wanted to buy, but couldn't do this time around. So I thought I'd at least support them and TOF. So I highly recommend this place for sure!

Rough Trade Leather & Gear aka Rough Trade/RT is an adult and clothing store located in the hear of Silver Lake. They have a great selection of street wear, fetish gear and leather including neoprene as well as some more PVC, polyvinyl and polyurethane editions, which I'm obsessed with as a vegan leather bear. It's a two store wonder with a rag tag crew of people who make this place feel like more than an awesome shop. Adrian, Cristina, Greg (here for cameos and kindness), Jessica, Merlyn, Nabor, and Sera (on top - level 2) are the Avengers of Rough Trade Gear. Not only do the run an amazing Latinx owned shop that caters to the LGBTQ+ community, but the host events, support and advocate for others from individuals to association/clubs, bar and fellow small businesses. Discover fun tee's, tanks, singlets, shorts, pants, coveralls, overalls, union suits, vest, hats, caps and more. An abundance of adult toys, accessories, magazines, plus more. They're very knowledgeable, considerate and open all seven days of the week as early as Noon. Parking available in their lot, local street and/or access to public transit via LA Metro in a very walkable neighborhood. For custom orders/work you can make appointments over the phone as well as inquire about inventory. The online shop is amazing and they do offer shipping discounts, but nothing beats the real deal feel and top notch customer service experience. Stop in and support this local small owned staple in LA and SoCal [check out their Coachella Valley/Palm Springs location and DTLA cousin store Lustern as well].

Terrible experience at Rough Trade Gear. The woman working the front—Jessica, I believe—was shockingly rude and completely dismissive. No customer service, no help, just pure attitude. It honestly felt like I was inconveniencing her by walking in. On top of that, the store’s selection is incredibly limited, overpriced, and the quality doesn’t match the cost. Nothing about this visit was worth it. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
