We stayed at the Beechwood while attending my daughter’s graduation at Worcester State University, and it was a great experience. The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable, and our room had a beautiful bathroom. The customer service was exceptional. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful when we first arrived. Later when we stopped by to ask for a few extra coffee pods and some creamer, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even brought us fresh cream! I believe his name was Miles, although I may be mistaken. Because of the warm hospitality and overall quality of our stay, the Beechwood will definitely be our first choice whenever we’re in the Worcester area.
Nice clean room with plenty of space.
The hotel was great but they need to update the Tv and they need to have breakfast for the guests
The Beachwood is always a nice place to stay. Convent to work, shopping and restaurants. It’s always clean and comfortable and the staff is pleasant.
Very disappointed in the easter brunch. The food choice on the buffet style was not worth the money. There wasn't enough variety to choose from. They had a waffle station making mini waffles, no eggs benedict, one vegetable mixture, carrots and asparagus that looked horrible. On top of that, when you went to go get your food, you had to play dodge the staff, they were coming and going in the same path that you were on as you were trying to make a plate of food. I could not believe that I had to dodge and turn to avoid from getting hit or running into an employee moving about in the same area with dirty dishes or hot coffees and water, it was very disorganized. Also, the seating area was small and not very decorative. For $400 to feed four people to me was ridiculous, especially for the atmosphere and the quality of food! It was not worth it! I'm very disappointed. I am not a woman of well means, I struggle every day to 10 to 12 hrs to make my money, I'm unmarried and 65 yrs, this was $400 dollars Well spent; I'm very disappointed. I did not tip because the waiter basically was never around, he was to busy taking care of tables with larger groups, he never checked on us. I had to get other waitresses involved to get my check or a glass of champagne. I had to get-up-and-go look for Somebody to pay the bill, which I could have very easily walked out on that bill but chose not to. Another thing that disappointed me, was when you walked into the hotel lobby nobody was there to greet you at the podium to tell you where to go for the buffet or a smileon their face! I had to walk around and ask guest where the venue was located.. very disappointing, very unorganized, and the quality of food was secondary. Needless to say, I will never go back there again.
A beautiful upscale boutique hotel conveniently located. Wonderful people to assist you with your stay and a couple of amazing function rooms for your wedding or event. Highly recommended.
