Hilton Garden Inn Worcester

Horrible customer service. THEIR WEBSITE booking on the Hilton app states accepts pets (cats and dogs). On arrival denied entry of my cat even when showed evidence of the cats allowed on booking. Showed them my phone for evidence and they threatened to call security. Manager stated even if he was a service animal it’s DOGS ONLY. Pretty sure that’s not even legal. Would never consider booking again. Fix your website.

Conveniently located next to the DCU center for events. Room was clean and staff was super friendly and helpful.

Almost 5:00, the room is not ready to check in and nobody responds to the support chat on the app.

Exactly what you expect and want from a Hilton Garden Inn

Fairly central if you are arriving like I did by train. A short walk or local bus ride shouldn't be ruled out. Overall a good experience. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Clean and no issues with coffee making facilities or WiFi. Bathroom all fine. The basic price does not include breakfast. Two options for a set price. Cooked dish to order or unlimited from the self service buffet. The latter was much better than many hotel chains. Both hot dishes, cereals, fruit, pastries etc.

Overall kinda disappointing. The gym is tiny and always stinks like rotten feet. The Peloton bike has been out of service my whole stay. There is a nice swimming pool and hot tub at least. My room is on the side facing the train track, so I get woken up early each morning by the noise. The room itself is decent. I do appreciate the fridge and microwave. Self parking costs extra and is in a garage across the street.

The bathroom had empty shampoo and zero cups to drink water or take medications. We called to stay an extra hour for graduation and was charged $75 dollars for an already very expensive room as well as the check-in people being very grumpy. We did think that the location was convenient though.
