About the event

The fifteen-year-old Malou grows up with her two brothers and her mother in a small Belgian town. She is one of the best in the rowing club, but is also bullied there as a loner by her teammates. While her mother tries to get back into dating, Malou's older brother Max is the only person she can turn to. But when Malou meets his new girlfriend, her life is turned upside down. The girls fall in love – and Malou begins to question her entire identity.

About the venue

Acht is a restaurant on Spichernstraße in Cologne's Neustadt-Nord, close to the Belgian Quarter. It is a mainstream restaurant and gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Reviews are consistently good on the food, and prices sit at the upper-middle level for the city…

“Highly recommended! Yesterday we had a fantastic table in the beautiful courtyard and enjoyed a four-course meal. The value for money was excellent! The atmosphere is lovely and the decor very cozy. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! The wine pairing was perfect – we would definitely come back.” — Svenja Anzer, Google
“Enjoyed the food and excellent wines, friendly staff and fast service” — Frank Vergeer, Google
