The Wasserturm Hotel Cologne, Curio Collection by Hilton, is a truly unique experience. The distinctive architecture of the historic water tower, combined with modern design, exceptional service, and a special atmosphere, is truly remarkable and impressive. From the moment you step inside, you sense the high value placed on quality, style, and hospitality. My suite was particularly impressive, as was the spectacular rooftop bar with its breathtaking 360-degree view of Cologne, all the way to the cathedral. The location is superb – central yet pleasantly quiet. A fantastic breakfast, a lovely spa area, and excellent service complete the picture! A truly exceptional hotel and highly recommended. Parking is conveniently available in the hotel's underground garage.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, breakfast and underground parking are great, but there's no air conditioning, only ventilation, so the room was 25 degrees Celsius – something to be aware of. More recommended for cooler weather!

Staying in a former water tower converted into a hotel makes this property truly unique and charming. The room was very spacious, elegant, quiet, and equipped with every comfort. The real highlight, however, is the breakfast: probably one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. A sumptuous buffet, with a huge variety of sweet and savory options, quality products, and options for all tastes. There really was something for everyone, and every morning it was a pleasure to start the day like this. Friendly staff, well-kept rooms, and a special atmosphere that made the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we booked a room for one night. We've often enjoyed the view and drinks from the rooftop bar in the past. To our surprise, there was a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and a very nice, handwritten, personal card waiting for us in our room (thank you so much, Ms. A. Kreis). We received a remarkably warm and friendly welcome from "Eva" at reception. It was truly a personal touch. The hotel is fantastic and centrally located. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the attentive, friendly, and wonderful service, including the upgrade! An unforgettable weekend. Best regards to the entire team.

Update 2026: This time I visited in spring and immediately felt welcome again. Fatima and the check-in team were so warm and professional. The sunset and moonlight on the rooftop bar made me lose track of time... A huge thank you to all the wonderful people who work there. Original review: In one word: Outstanding! From the welcome at check-in by Kerem at the front desk, to the superb service at breakfast and in the Botanik bar in the evening, to the pleasant lounge... a hotel to relax and enjoy. It was so lovely spending my vacation with you!

Everything about the hotel was great. My only complaint is the breakfast. We arrived at 0745 and all of the food was gone (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) and wasn't ever re-stocked except for the bacon. The pastries were also very limited and the coffee machine wasn't working properly. And it was 31 EUROs, (per person) which was not commensurate with the quality and selection.
