Riad Dar Zaman
Visitors consistently praise the Riad Dar Zaman's exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, describing them as warm and welcoming. The location is also frequently highlighted as a perfect balance between being close to the market streets and offering a peaceful retreat. One common minor complaint is that some rooms can be on the smaller side, potentially feeling tight with a lot of luggage.

The location was perfect for us. Almost right on the market streets, but not so close that it was too busy. The guys at the riad were amazing and incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent. They immediately catered to all our needs. Highly recommended!
It was a wonderful time! The service was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was excellent. The only slight drawback was the soundproofing in the rooms and the loud squeaky door latches, but other than that, just perfect!
Riad Dar Zaman is just perfect. Peter, Hamza, Karima, Adil and Aioub looked after us like friends, and even taught us how to cook! Nothing was too much trouble, and the riad itself is just beautiful, in a friendly, safe neighbourhood. Totally recommend 100%. Thank you to all at Dar Zaman for making our stay in Marrakech so lovely.
Would highly recommend staying here! The riad is beautiful and has such special qualities. Hassan and Hamza were so friendly and welcoming, making our stay very pleasant. The complementary water and delicious breakfast was also very much appreciated.
What an oasis!! The quiet calm and beauty of Dar Zaman was the perfect respite during our 3-day stay in Marrakech. The staff was warm, friendly, and super helpful. We particularly loved our Moroccan tea class with Hamza. The location is walkable to everything in the Medina and to the Majorelle while being in a quieter part of the city center. Would book again!
I stayed a few days ago in this charming Riad and I have only good words for it. My flight arrived in the evening and they have a door to door service to bring you to the Riad and not to worry about anything on your arrival in Marrakech. Despite arriving late, the kitchen was available and I was able to enjoy it at the foot of a cozy fireplace. A super cozy room was waiting for me, in which I recharged my batteries for what awaited me the next morning. The breakfast with which you wake up in this Riad is abundant, very good, with homemade products and freshly baked bread. I was talking with some guests who had had a similar experience, they told me that at all times they facilitated the excursions and helped them with any management they needed. I had the opportunity to meet Peter, the owner, and chat with him for a while. He and his team understand the meaning of hospitality perfectly. I felt very much at home in this location.
My husband and I did the cooking class here today and cannot recommend it highly enough. Such wonderful people: Peter (who took us on a little tour of the area first and shared some really interesting local knowledge), Hassan (our translator and host), Karima (our very talented cooking teacher). We were there most of the day and ate so well that we won't be needing dinner. The dishes were explained so well and it was all so simple, but it was the best food we have had on our Morocco trip by far. They were so accommodating to our needs (we don't eat meat and I don't like coriander), nothing was too much trouble. If you are considering a Moroccan cooking course I thoroughly recommend you to do it here. You will not regret it.
