Where should I begin? The reception desk is consistently unattended; I believe the individuals who work in the cafe also serve as receptionists. The room was quite stained, and the floor creaked like something from a suspenseful film. The room also felt rather dusty. I stayed for only one of the three nights and relocated to another hotel on the second day, as the experience awful and unsatisfactory. While the location is excellent, I would highly recommend choosing a different hotel.

I have been here a few times over the years and I find the food is ok. However, Maybe it's just me, as the cafe is always quite busy, but I just don't believe it deserves the hype it receives. Maybe it's all about the building's architecture (beautiful) and location.

We spent 2 nites in the nest room, very depressing and old, I wouldn't recommend it.I don't know what the other rooms are like. Location is great, there would be alot of potential to upgrade, very drab looking. Basin in bathroom had fairly deep cracks, window sills old and corners rotted, the room felt desolate. I wouldn't categorise it as boutique, far from it. Surprisingly I booked through Qantas holidays, I'm surprised that they have it on the hotel list. Very disappointing. Bed and cushions were comfortable.

Didn't stay there. Bar service of an evening was very poor. Food service was poor also as was the quality of the food except for the salad and the chicken wings. Service in the cafe area of a morning was very poor, but that was to be expected as it was the same staff as in the bar. Would I return there, not unless the staff changed. It was a great location, but that was the only positive.

Waited 1 hour for food with 19 ph surcharge. Should have communicated prior to ordering it will take 1 hour for food.

Rooms were very old, the dark paint and minimal lighting seems to be hiding a very old and dated room. No natural light to put make up on etc or get ready. The staff weren’t overly helpful on the day we checked in, for the money I think it would be best to Iook elsewhere.
