Hacienda Motel Geelong

I don't understand the great reviews for this hotel. It's disgusting and dirty. The room had large stains on the carpet and curtains, the double bed had a huge divet in the center of the bed. I accidentally over pulled the sheets back to see stained mattress and it was far from comfortable. Also the linen on one of the single beds looks like it had a burn mark. The room was swarming with little bugs and the sofa bed when released was also full of bugs. The shower was average and the towels were pre-wet. The lady at the front was very nice and friendly but that's where the good ends. I tried to check at 8 sharp and no one was available. The rooms need serious updates. The price was good, but the place needs a good upgrade. It would have been banging in the 90s. Maybe it is just they have not got around to updating the family rooms. Carpet, refinish and paint, and fixture upgrade would go a long way for this place.

Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff (and their dog!). Excellent location close to Kardinia Park and the Geelong CBD, restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Would be happy to stay here again.

LJ met us at reception and walked us directly to our room. Very friendly staff and easy to check in

This is the second time we've stayed here. Rooms are always clean. Great location. And the staff are lovely and friendly. The lady on tonight asked what we were here for and we chatted in depth. Makes you feel very welcome. She upgraded us into the bigger room ( family 2 rooms)... a blessing to my bestie. She won't hear me snore 🤣

No breakfast or wi-fi despite being advertised on website. Reception closed at least 45 minutes early.

Always excellent service and friendly staff. Clean rooms and a good location particularly for overnight work stays.

Great location room's clean and tidy top place to stay in Geelong

Very welcoming staff. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Great location with many eating places within walking distance.

Receptionist was cheerful and friendly. The room smelled fresh and was absolutely clean and well presented. The equipment worked, the towels were plentiful and clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall I found this place really affordable and pleasant.
