Kingsway Motel Geelong

I booked 2 rooms last minute for two of my painters 18/5/26. I advised that they would be coming after hours as they were still working. When they arrived they were given 2 keys for two seperate rooms. The first room they entered was occupied by a guest who got a fright with what he thought was an intruder coming in at midnight. The next room they entered had been used and not cleaned. It was filthy. My painters advised the staff and the young girl decided to make the bed and not change the sheets and offer to my staff (my staff watched her do this). My staff requested new rooms. I rang twice the next day to put in a complaint. I left my number both times on the answering machine but no one has called me back. We stay at so many hotels and this has to be the absolute worst service ever!!! If the hotel reads this, my number is on your answering service. Feel free to call me and discuss further.

Very bad service left my watch in the room and I have been in contact with the receptionist for the last 2 months every phone call I have had with the receptionist has been her reassuring me that she will ship my watch that day. Still haven’t received anything no shipment

Great motel very clean and tidy very accommodating

Despite checking in at 3.30pm our room was still being cleaned. Which we didn't find until after we had carried our luggage up to the second floor. When we did finally get access to our room we found a number of issues: broken light switch, broken TV, missing TV remote, an unrepaired hole in the bathroom door and in several places, including the curtains, what appeared to be blood. It's a shame as the room would have been lovely otherwise. The decor and furnishings are modern and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms have some lovely touches and make good use of the limited space available. The motel is in an excellent location with Kardinia stadium within easy walking distance.

I just tried to book a room and a very rude lady, named Christine just hung up on me , i habe tried to call back and no won't , she was quite rude , very poor customer service,

Freshly renovated. Clean with comfy beds. Huge credit to the people who did the Reno works as design and style are amazing! Highly recommend staying for not only a cheap stay but cleanliness,comfort and service!

This motel proved a disaster. There were people staying who were noisy, yelling, screaming, dragging the furniture across the rooms and slamming doors. Their kids ran riot banging on the railings and playing football in the carpark. It is clear from the number of bad reviews that this is a long-standing and on-going problem that the management are unwilling or unable to do anything. Be warned - do not stay here.

I am a bit flummoxed by the positive reviews. The room is clean and pleasant, sure. Staying here has been awful. There is constant shouting, screaming and general noise. The hotel seems to have one big community staying here permanently and there is no regard for people staying a few nights, wanting a reasonable night's sleep. Last night we were kept awake from 11 pm to 1.30 am by the cacophony. Perhaps all the positive reviews are AI. I would never stay again. .

Wow...this place was fantastic...clean rooms.. quiet ...lovely recepotioniste...had all the amenities and close to shops ...beach etc.i cannot wait to go back again ..love that it's situated amongst heritage homes ..the beautiful prestigious part of Geelong ..thank you for giving us the best night's Will definitely come again to Kingsway
