Geelong Rainbow Festival

Geelong Rainbow Festival is the queer pride of Victoria's second city, run by the volunteer group Geelong Rainbow Inc. It came back on February 6 and 7, 2026, after a break, with a new committee in charge. A cabaret night opened it. The next morning a parade and rally marched through the city to Johnstone Park on Gheringhap Street for a free day of music, stalls, food trucks and community groups, which began with a Welcome to Country.

After Geelong, the festival crew carried on to Melbourne, an hour away by train, for Victoria's Pride Street Party. Nobody has published attendance numbers. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
