About this place Evie's Disco Diner
Evie's Disco Diner is a bar and diner at 230-232 Gertrude Street in Fitzroy, done up as a disco, with a kitchen, a dance floor and an events room. It isn't a gay bar, but it is popular with queer Melbourne and runs drag bingo, karaoke and party nights, and local LGBTQ+ guides list it.
The crowd is mixed and mostly young. Google rates it 4.5 from more than 1,500 reviews. Smith Street is around the corner, so it works as a first stop before the gay bars there.
