Bun Kao Guest House

Owner was very friendly, rooms are good, but some smell from the toilet and in the evening and night there was noise from the factory ((( huming and buzzing. During the day it was quiet.

Like any of us are gonna complain about a hotel with a comfortable bed that I paid $7 a night for ._. I was very comfortable here. My only downside was that I got padlocked out of the front gate for about 20 minutes at 1230AM. I eventually made so much noise that other people in the hotel woke up a staff member to let me in. I work all night sometimes, so this place might not be perfect for the night owls out there, but I did go out and back between 1 and 5AM on many other nights with no problem at all. Perhaps just a one off. There was a giant gecko outside my room and it was loud and I loved it.

Quiet place. Clean cotton sheets and towels. Very responsive and hospitable staff. I like their attitude towards guests. They have large and cool balconies overlooking the corridors on the floor. I would stay again. Thank you! 🤍🙏🏻

Depends what you are looking for but my stay was a tiny bit over $13 a night for four nights. The rooms at that price vary a decent amount in layout and mine had two large beds jammed into it so not much floor space. Clean enough for the price but don't expect spic and span. More than good enough for someone who was barely spending any time in the room during the day. I did get to chat to a few people on the big balcony since it was a hangout area. There's one on each floor. Felt safe as well and the family's all really nice. The hallway has cameras and both male and female solo travelers staying there as well as couples. My five-star rating is based on the price. Obviously if you're paying more you get more.

One among the budget guesthouse in town with many restaurant within walking distance. Not really new but okay to stay and explore the ancient temple of Angkor Wat and other complex structures as well.

I am very lucky to have found such a great guesthouse! The owner was very friendly and welcomed me warmly even though I arrived at 5am! There are restaurants and a laundry service nearby, so it's very convenient. It's also close to Angkor Wat and the bus center that takes you to and from the airport, so the location is great. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Siem Reap!

Definitely a great option for Siem Reap, centrally located, close to everything, yet on a quiet street—I didn't hear any noise at night. Very friendly staff, and the bed and pillow were finally comfortable after the hard ones in Thailand. Excellent value for money! The shared terrace is beautiful.

This place is simply magical... the safest, the owner and his daughter are the sweetest people, friendly, and helpful. I travel a lot, but I haven't felt this comfortable in a long time... I definitely recommend it and will definitely come back. Thank you so much for staying here...
