About this place Heleni Malka Hotel Jerusalem (Former Olive)

Heleni Malka Hotel, which used to trade as the Olive, is a mid-range hotel on Heleni HaMalka Street in downtown West Jerusalem. It's a mainstream hotel listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Reviews are mixed, averaging 3.8 from roughly 600 on Google. The street runs off the Russian Compound area, so Jaffa Road, the light rail and the bars around the downtown triangle are a few minutes away on foot, and the Old City's Jaffa Gate is within walking distance. Jerusalem is quieter and more conservative than Tel Aviv, and much of the city shuts down from Friday afternoon to Saturday night for Shabbat. Check the hotel's own site for current room details.

A value hotel in a central location. Within a walking distance from numerous central and old city locations. Nothing fancy but if you need a place to rest your head this is a good offer.

For those looking for rooms at a low price, I don't see a problem; it's worth the price.

The hotel location is excellent! Close to everything. The manager is kind and helpful. A special room with a stone wall, gives a feeling of being abroad. I recommend it.
