Mabolo Royal Hotel was amazing! They took such good care of my senior travelers and made sure they were comfortable throughout their stay. We originally booked a dorm-type room, but Kris from reception kindly helped upgrade them to a more comfortable room. She was also very accommodating during check-in, especially since the main guest’s flight from Manila was delayed. They allowed one of my aunties to check in first, which we truly appreciated. Thank you for the excellent customer service and kindness shown to my family. Highly recommended, especially for senior travelers!
We only stayed for one night just to have a rest before going back to Singapore coming from Bantayan. Upon reaching the room, the card key is not working hence we have to use the normal door key. First saw the toilet which is not properly maintained as evidenced by the dark line inside the bowl and the rough spots in the faucet. The floor was not cleaned well as I can even see pubic hair, same with the bedsheet/pillow. The mattress protector is the only cover in the bed and it seems to be used as well (not changed after the last use). We had difficulty sleeping, it’s very itchy. My family’s other room even have to go down at midnight to request for change in the linens. The night we stayed, there was a local event beside the hotel (understand that the hotel did not have any control on this). But the singing also lasted until 10.45pm and we can clearly hear whatever is happening outside. The staff are accommodating just too bad that the facility maintenance is not well done.
We stayed one night here, as it's close to the bus stop for the airport. They told us they would clean the room and then give it to us. When we arrived, it was dirty, the shower was full of hair, the sink was dirty, and the toilet was too. There was hair on the sheets and pillows. The towels weren't exactly spotless either. And you can hear a lot of street noise. The price was high for what we got, to be honest. The reception staff were nice.
•Door lock - "di naman po yan mabubuksan from the outside without card" we are not comfortable sleeping without double locked. •Requesting bath towels and hangers - "ay wala pa po ba sa room niyo" Obviously its still not in the room thats why we are reuesting. •Upgrade to Deluxe suite to Family Suite well in fact they just check us in with same booking i have which they just open the extra bed. •Even requested a pillow cases twice, requested for tissue rolls and it did not arrived • requested for Bathmat 🥺 Just check the photos and judge it. * Stains on bed, saliva on the pillow itself🤮 •Balcony door wasn't locked. Too tired to complaint because nothing will be done and we will just be stress. Its cheap yes but even 1 star hotel will not served like this😌
