Hamersons Hotel Cebu

BUYER BEWARE. Inadequate facilities in room. Double room -2 people are meant to share the 1 bath towel, 1 bedside table with 1 draw, 1 lamp, 1 water bottle and 1 use bath shower gel between them. Clearly the hotel is passing off a single room at a double room price. Room didn't have the fridge or electric jug mentioned in pre booking advertising. "Upgrade" is the receptions' favourite word. I should be getting what was advertised AND paid for! Not being asked to pay twice. Though reception did provide the 2nd towel & another water when I asked for them. Otherwise room clean if not a bit on the small side for 2 people. Disappointing start to my holiday in Cebu. Day 2 - Had to send breakfast back as fish was raw/very under cooked and I received what was a child portion. Fish was a 2 desert spoon portion for breakfast.

Have stayed here many times when traveling for business in Cebu. Great value for the price, particularly the deluxe rooms. However, the twin rooms are too small for two people, has no TV, and the windows don't open up to outdoors. Bathroom was good, no complaints. Breakfast area gets crowded sometimes. Breakfast is plated (no buffet) so the selection is somewhat limited but the meals and the pancakes are great quality. If you don't eat a lot in the morning and just need nice place to sleep, this is a good deal. Locationwise very central and near the Capitol area. It's also near some trending cafes and restaurants on the other side of the street. At night, it doesn't feel the safest to walk here so best to get to your hotel by taking Grab.

The hotel is all good and nice. With a chill and vibes atmosphere. The rooms are well maintained clean. The service is so good they are so approachable and always give the best quality service.

I stayed two nights. It was perfect. Not far from the city center and train stations. The hotel was under renovation but very clean nonetheless, and there was a wide selection for breakfast (continental and local options).

Walking distance from hospital and few steps from laundry service. Disappointed with WiFi service. I was asked how many devices I will be using and when I told them phone and IPAD, we were given 4 different piece of paper with password. I had to pay PHP 350 for the hand towel cause it got stained. Air condition ok. TV started having wiggly picture most of time. Hot water good. À la carte breakfast choice ok.
