I booked this hotel because of good online reviews. Upon check-in, they only mentioned the Wi-Fi and breakfast the next day. They didn't mention whether the drinks and coffee on the first floor were free or paid. I politely asked the front desk staff, but they didn't even look at me when they answered. They just looked at their computer and said, "You can help yourself" (in a very rude tone). This front desk staff member ruined my entire trip. Where is the most basic courtesy between people? Is it really that hard to speak politely?

I checked in after seeing G-Dragon's concert. There was parking available in front, but it didn't feel like a hotel at all. The staff were eating takeout in the lobby. The whole place was very old and run-down. Reviews said it was clean, but the bathroom ceiling in my room was absolutely disgusting—it was so dilapidated and old I didn't even want to look at it. I didn't think to complain and ask for a different room, so I just stayed. But I want to warn everyone: it really is very old and unclean.

It's a 5-minute walk from Xinyi Anhe MRT station, with plenty of shops and convenience stores nearby. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Taipei Arena for concerts. There's a minibar on the first floor where you can grab some snacks if you get hungry. Guests can also enjoy complimentary drinks and ice. 👍

The original booking was for a double room with two beds, but it was changed to a large bed. This was confirmed two days ago, and the hotel handled the situation efficiently, resolving the only minor disappointment.
