Om Yim Lodge is a gay-friendly guesthouse in Bangkok's Silom neighborhood, a short walk from the area's nightlife.
It’s near the Chong Nonsi Skytrain station, which means getting around Bangkok’s LGBTQ+ scene is easy, though the lodge itself feels pretty chill. Think of it as a good launchpad.
Rooms are basic but work: air conditioning, a safe, a fridge, cable TV, and stuff to make tea or coffee. Every room gets free Wi-Fi and daily cleaning. You don't have to leave for food, either; there's a small Thai and European restaurant on site.
Rates run from 927 to 1,390 Baht. The price changes with the season, how long you stay, and room size. It’s a good deal.
Just know there's no elevator, which could be an issue if stairs are a problem. Breakfast isn't included in the room rate, but the restaurant does serve it. If you're here for Silom's gay bars, clubs, and restaurants, Om Yim Lodge puts you right where you want to be.

New management
clean large rooms, foxtel, aircon, private ensuite. Rooms cleaned every day. new sheets. You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Euro and Thai meals. English speaking staff... very good
It was convenient and comfortable. The room was clean.
Excellent, I have been there twice and have not complaint whatsoever. They are all extremely attentive and ready to help you or to gives you suggestions. I am looking forward to go back to BKK and to OM YIM
Stay Away from this place. Staff is unfriendly. Still waiting for our bags to come up, after 6 hours of waiting. They are remodel the next door...Stay here if, you love the sound of jack-hammer, and next door is high rise is going up. As of September 2012. The owner made us paid up front and ran. Wish us a luck to get our refund. No lift for 3-4 stories high. My mom is old and cannot to stair very well. Free wifi is free, works. That about the only good thing here. Bring ear plugs & Sleeping pills. Good Luck.
