SOI Bangkok Restaurant

I had my first meal in Bangkok here because the restaurant is conveniently located in my hotel, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao Pork with a fried egg, Tom Yum soup with giant river prawns, and Thai milk tea. Every dish was delicious! It was my first time trying Pad Kra Pao. I expected it to be quite greasy, but it was surprisingly fresh, fragrant, and well-balanced. Now I know why it’s such a famous Thai dish—I already want to have it again. The Tom Yum soup was amazing as well. The river prawns were huge, incredibly fresh, and perfectly cooked. One thing that really touched me was that I have a blood sugar condition, so the restaurant kindly made me a sugar-free Thai milk tea for me. I absolutely loved it—it still had the smooth, creamy texture from the milk while keeping the pleasant bitterness and aroma of the tea. It was one of the best Thai milk teas I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional. A special thank you to Plamy and Nea. Plamy was so gentle and thoughtful, recommending the spice level that suited me perfectly. Nea was full of energy and made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you both for your kindness and warm hospitality. The atmosphere was also lovely. Although the dining area has a beautiful glass roof, the air conditioning kept it cool and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The food, service, atmosphere, and value for money were all outstanding. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Bangkok. Highly recommended!

Extremely lackluster thai food. Very little spice, mediocre flavor, especially the curries (3 different types). Can get much much better food just about anywhere on the street in Bangkok for a fifth of the price. If you want authentic tasty Thai food go someplace else. Positives: service was very good for the most part oart, very friendly, ambiance was pleasant (despite being mostly empty on a Friday night....). Only part of service that wasn't great: dropped a tiny bottle of water and never poured it. Btw, water cost 100 baht!! 10x the price in stores and more than at a Michelin star restaurant we dined out at the night before. It's a bit ridiculous. At least pour it once... :-)

SOI is a great restaurant with a good atmosphere. We went 3 times and the service was perfect and the staff was really nice and attentive every time. The food itself was good as well. It’s local Thai dishes with use of local produce which makes it better. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

A very well-kept restaurant, a warm welcome, friendly service and excellent, fresh food. We felt very much at home.

A modern hotel in the center of Bangkok with a welcoming atmosphere and incredible food. We were served by the very attentive and professional waitress Aus. It's well worth going in and enjoying it even if you don't have a room, which I must say is that their rooms are spectacular.
