What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the hotel's friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and clean rooms, with many appreciating the quiet location and spa facilities. However, a significant and recurring complaint is the lack of air conditioning, which some guests found made rooms uncomfortably hot, especially in summer.

Stayed here for the F1 in Austria. It was quite hot. Good location, food, breakfast average. The rooms are spotless, the furniture dated, but I slept very well on the mattresses. One minor drawback: no air conditioning; despite the fan, this was really missed. Otherwise, it truly deserves 5 stars.

Relatively quiet location near the center (approx. 15 minutes), good breakfast

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and a nice location – but no air conditioning in the room! Absolutely dreadful in the summer and almost impossible to sleep in. The fan in the room (labeled "Thank you for your contribution to environmental protection" or something similar) is useless against the heat. If you want to sleep at night, you have to open the balcony doors (which don't tilt) wide to the street to let in some (cooler) air. While this makes sleeping possible, the proximity to the street and the noise from passing cars don't exactly promote a peaceful night's sleep (we were on the ground floor). I also don't recall seeing the warning words "no air conditioning" anywhere on the booking website. At least the breakfast room in the lobby was air-conditioned, the buffet was quite good, and the staff were very friendly. Nevertheless, unfortunately, it wasn't a four-star experience that justifies the price of un-air-conditioned rooms at a time when summers are breaking heat records.

We've been coming to Hotel Stoiser for a week at a time for several years now because everything about it is just perfect! The location is ideal for leaving the car parked and using public transport during our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired.

We booked a family room for a weekend. The rooms were very clean. The mattresses and pillows in the double room were very good. An additional light source in the bedroom would be helpful. The small bedside lamps aren't sufficient for reading. My son used the sofa in the living room as a third bed. The upholstery isn't suitable for sleeping. The sofa was too short for my very tall son. The bathroom is well-equipped, but also a bit dated, like the rest of the room's furnishings. The vending machine on the ground floor only accepts coins (no banknotes, no card payments accepted), which is a shame. We received very friendly service from the reception staff. Breakfast: excellent! It's one of the best breakfast buffets I've had on any of my holidays. Despite the rail replacement bus service (major construction work due to the double-tracking of the tram line, etc.), there was a very good connection to the Hilmteich tram stop. Parking directly at the hotel – perfect. Overall impression: The hotel is highly recommended, especially for its cleanliness, parking, the comfort of the double mattress and pillows, and the breakfast buffet.
