What reviewers say

Many visitors praise the hotel's excellent service, with particular commendation for the friendly and helpful reception staff, and find the breakfasts to be perfect. However, some guests report issues with room service entering rooms despite requests for privacy, doors being left open after cleaning, and inconsistent WiFi service. There are also mentions of the hotel attracting a "less desirable type of crowd" and feeling not up to Hilton standards for some.

I think this is one of the best hotels in Minsk. After all, the Hilton chain is aimed at discerning guests. The breakfasts aren't just delicious, they're perfect; they have absolutely everything; I can't even imagine anything to complain about. The rooms are nice, everything works perfectly, and if you're on a high floor, the view is beautiful. The location is also great: there's access to a shopping center, the old town, the metro station, the embankment, and a stop for tour buses are nearby. One unpleasant experience occurred upon check-in: our Yandex voucher clearly stated three breakfasts were included, but at reception they insisted that breakfast for a child wasn't included, and that we'd have to pay extra to sort it out ourselves. So, I had to pay extra. If I go to Minsk again, I'll definitely stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk. The attention and service were excellent from the moment we arrived. The reception team was especially kind, professional and helpful, and they made us feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Ekaterina and the other lovely receptionist who assisted us so warmly. Room service was great and also very cold champagne! 🥂 🍾 The hotel also surprised me with a complimentary birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture — and it was very nice and delicious. Our room had a beautiful view over the Old Town and the lake, which made the stay even more special. The bar and restaurant are also extremely good. We visit them every time we come here, and they always deliver — the quality, atmosphere and service are consistently excellent. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so pleasant and memorable. We would be very happy to return on our next visit!

Traveler's Tip: Stay away from hotels which also have casinos in them, they attract less desirable type of crowds and are much less oriented toward proper genuine hospitality. This is such a hotel. 1. Room service came into our room despite a sign hanging not to enter. 2. After we did ask for cleaning, they left our door open after cleaning. 3. Air conditioners don't work during winter season, but rooms get stuffy and unpleasant at night. 4. Restaurant on 21st floor is a rip off. Service is horrible, we were not greeted by anyone upon arrival. We reserved a table by the window, and when we arrived they said they don't have one and didn't bother apologizing. Food was average at best. All they have going for them is a beautiful view and decor, thats where it ends. 5. They offered us prosecco by the glass and didn't bother mentioning its high cost, despite me asking them once about it, the question was lost by them. 6. Rooms are poorly insulated as when another guests slams their door, the whole rooms shakes. 7. Constant internet problems, couldn't do important business work, had to contact them two times to get it fixed. 8. Restaurant on 7th floor has decent food but waiter disappeared for like 20 minutes on 2 separate occasions after serving us. 9. Employees don't look happy, most are young and poorly trained, not well motivated. First and last time visiting this hotel.

This place is full of wild young people, and when there are rock concerts on the side of the Sports Palace, it’s better not to be there at all.

Definitely not a Hilton-standard hotel. No service, no friendliness, a waste of money.

They X-ray your belongings when you check in. Either the security guards think guests are criminals, or they're just pretending to do their job. I've never seen that happen. Otherwise, everything's great.
