What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise B&B Druum for its excellent location, unique and artistic room designs, and a very good breakfast. However, a recurring complaint is the lack of a fridge or minibar in the rooms, with suggestions to use a shared kitchen being deemed impractical.

A place 10 minutes from the center of Brussels, ideal price/quality ratio.

Pros: Good location. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast Employees were decent Cons: 1- The major problem was not having a fridge or minibar in the apartment which made us suffering a lot. When I requested from the breakfast employees for this fridge they told me to put my stuff in the fridge of the shared kitchen which was not practical at all. 2- The bathroom, bathtub and the toilet are open with the bedroom in a very awful way. No privacy at all. I am really upset from this disgusting design. When I told the same to the breakfast employee, she said that this odd design is not the same in all apartments but definitely I didn't have the possibility to change my room as you can't communicate with anyone. Your room is predetermined without your consent. 3- No way of communication with the owners except by sending messages on Booking.com and even if you send message you have to wait very long time to be answered and most of cases your messages are ignored. 4- The stairs are very narrow and the rooms are upstairs. No elevator. It is so hard to carry heavy luggage up and down. 5- In the first night there was horrible noise on the ceiling of the room after midnight from lot of teenagers without any control from the building management. Finally, to be honest, it could be acceptable accommodation for others but unacceptable for me.

A truly excellent stay. I really liked the room design. The rooms are large, very clean, and spacious. The ceilings are not too high or too low. The breakfast was quite adequate. The staff was very nice. There's a kitchen, and you can make your own tea and coffee whenever you want. The hotel's location is good, about a 10-15-minute walk from Gran Place. There's a code on the hotel's front door. You enter the code and then receive your room key. You can check in yourself after 3:00. They sent a text message outlining the code and the situation. I didn't read it, so I waited outside for 10 minutes. If you arrive early, there's a breakfast area where you can leave your bags.

This was a fantastic B&B. The room was large, with a very large bed. The decor was unique and interesting. The breakfast was very good.
