It's a terrible place, of course, but it's not expensive and conveniently located))
Clean, cheap, close to Grand Place, and the street is lively and has all services.
Where to begin?! Reception; after arriving and finding the hotel rather unwelcoming, things didn't improve... Even after booking, I called and was told there would be no problem for our 4-year-old son. Once there, we were told there wouldn't be if WE brought an extra bed!! Or if he slept with us. In short, after much discussion where they implied I hadn't expressed myself clearly and added that other guests slept with their children without any issues, they gave me a "bed" without even opening the legs, so basically just a box spring and a mattress on the floor, charged a whopping €10 per night. The room; As you can see in the photos below, the bed was dilapidated, the toilet wouldn't stay in place, the shower had no grab bar for the showerhead and the water flow was very weak, the hairdryer didn't work, the blinds didn't close properly and were completely broken, the finishing wasn't done properly. The best part was finding things under the bed while looking for a car for our son, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Breakfast was a paltry affair: coffee from a half-empty, tasteless pot, no hot chocolate, nothing but crackers, a few slices of watery, low-quality, lean ham, cheese, greasy salami, two pieces of baguette, and two croissants. In short, a 3-star hotel that doesn't even deserve one. I wouldn't recommend it, except perhaps during the Halloween holidays, as the hygiene, maintenance, and security are appalling.
The hotel is somewhat run-down, the electrical wiring is completely substandard, and the bedding is extremely basic. Cleanliness needs improvement. This hotel should be avoided at all costs.
Not a fancy one but ok for passersby
