The welcome was very warm, the only positive aspect of the hotel; the rest is unacceptable. For a room costing over €168 per night... The bathroom was inaccessible, the shower had significant mold, and there was a high level of humidity in the room. It was impossible to lower the temperature; as soon as you opened the window, you could hear the noise from the neighbors' groups, making it impossible to sleep. On the stairs, do not hold onto the handrail, which is prone to falling.

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. However, the room left much to be desired. There were traces of mold, even after scrubbing, throughout the room. The same was true in the bathroom, with several visible patches of mold on the ceiling and in the shower. The bathroom was completely impractical; it was just a small corridor with a toilet that was partially blocked by a small sink. There were brown stains on the handle of the tiny bathroom window. Some "accessories" listed on Booking.com as being in the room were not (a hairdryer, for example). The heat was unbearable, and when we opened the window (which overlooked the courtyard), the noise from the ventilation outside was loud, making it impossible to sleep. The safety measures on the stairs are inadequate; the handrail wobbles considerably.

The room had no air conditioning even though it was 31°C outside, and the TV volume was too low to hear anything.

The hotel is ideally placed near the city centre and a lively neighborhood. You can find 14/7 shops and good economical places to eat around. Right across the street is one of the best Boulangerie-Patisseries in Brussels! Great for affordable tasty breakfast. Most important, however, the hotel has the kindest staff I have ever met! The men at the reception are very smiley, polite and helpful. And the night concierge, Ayaz, helped me with a medical emergency in the most kind and caring way. We felt right at home everytime we came and left with these wonderful people working there and felt safe. This made the staying experience unique and very pleasant.

We booked this room for 4 adults through Booking.com and our reservation clearly showed 4 guests. When we arrived, the hotel told us the booking was only for 2 and demanded an extra £80 on the spot. Our confirmation proves otherwise. On top of that, the staff were rude and unhelpful when we tried to resolve it. This feels like a bait and switch to overcharge guests on arrival. Would not recommend and would not return.

If you are looking for a place to rest or sleep, do not book this hotel. The Construction Nightmare From the early morning hours until 10:00 PM, the hotel was a construction zone. The noise was relentless and made it impossible to relax or work. Just when I thought the nightmare was over at 10:00 PM, a new set of loud noises started right above my room. It sounded like more renovations or heavy manual labor. Room Conditions & Comfort The room itself was incredibly uncomfortable: • The Heat: The room was sweltering. Since there was no fan provided, the only option was to open the window, but the external noise was so loud that I had to keep it shut. • Light Pollution: The room is not light-proof at all. Bright light leaked in from under the door, from the shower area, and through the poorly fitted windows. It felt like trying to sleep in a brightly lit hallway. Service & Responsiveness This was the most frustrating part. I complained about the noise above my room multiple times: 1. First Complaint: Nothing changed. 2. Second Complaint: A staff member apologized and assured me the issue would be resolved within the hour. 3. Third Hour: Still nothing. The noise continued unabated. It wasn't until midnight that I finally gave up. I was forced to sleep with noise-canceling headphones just to get a few hours of restless shut-eye. Final Verdict I want to be fair: the man at the reception was very friendly and polite. However, a friendly smile cannot compensate for a complete lack of basic service and a room that is unfit for sleep. The overall management and service were catastrophic. I strongly advise against staying here until they finish their renovations and learn how to respect their guests' peace and quiet.
