I echo the many reviews made about the lack of air-conditioning and even if you have one, it makes loud noises as it is not a split unit or central. The common areas like the hall way is very stuffy and warm; no air flow or air-conditioning. I would not stay here during summer. The facilities are very “basic”. The bath towels are light and thin. No small towels, only 2 other mid size towels. Housekeeping only offered if you stay above 6 nights; a little too long I thought. We stayed 3 nights and the garbage was starting to build up and towels were starting to be soiled, especially the floor mat in the bath room due to a limited shower screen - not functional to prevent water splashes. Our room had a kettle with the cover coming off. They use disposable anti-slip mats that moves when it is wet, which defeats the purpose. For the price, I thought it was not quite worth the value. Chose it because it was part of the Ascott Group; expected better conditions.

Great hotel with friendly staff, clean/large rooms, and complimentary 24/7 coffee and water. The location is amazing and close to everything. The only downsides were the lack of AC in the rooms and some street noise from the bars below until about 1-2 AM. However, we'd much prefer a lively area over a sketchy, unsafe alley, so it didn't bother us too much. Still, something to keep in mind before booking!

Excellent value for money in Lyon. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was a good size, and the overall layout was practical and welcoming. One feature I particularly appreciated was the complimentary hot beverages available in the basement. The staff was also excellent, especially the young woman at reception, who was very friendly and helpful. The location is outstanding. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the surrounding restaurants, shops, and attractions. The only drawback was the noisy air conditioning during an especially warm week. Because the apartment is located on a pedestrian street, opening the windows for fresh air meant dealing with significant noise from outside. If you are sensitive to noise and looking for a very quiet night’s sleep, this may be a challenge during hot weather. That said, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the many positives. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely return.
