Very very well located, literally meters away from cathedral with direct view to it. Very nice interior with artistic designs and floor with Persian rugs. The service and staff are great. The receptionist, Ehsan, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful in giving advice to find the best places to visit and eat. Their breakfast was also fantastic. Would come back in future.

A truly timeless experience. The hotel is fortunate to be located opposite the cathedral in the heart of the old town. However, it seems to be resting on its laurels. The premises and furnishings are outdated. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired (stains on the furniture and walls, dust, dirty carpets, etc.). The breakfast is very basic. We didn't feel like we were in a four-star hotel. This experience was redeemed by the staff, who were lovely and incredibly helpful.

We were disappointed with our stay. We had booked an economy room, so we weren't expecting a view of the cathedral. However, room 23 is absolutely not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The bedding was uncomfortable (the mattress had a bowl-like shape…) and the room was very dark… and for good reason: one window overlooked the interior staircase (basically the hotel's main circulation areas), and another, with opaque glass, overlooked a small, gloomy courtyard filled with pigeon droppings. It seems as if this room, less than 10 square meters, was added to the building simply to increase capacity… The decor is outdated, and the carpeted floor had a bleach stain near the tiny shower room. The toilet is wedged between the shower screen and the wall, leaving very little room to move your arms. Another drawback: the shower gel bottle was empty in the shower – this could have been an oversight, but it also makes you wonder if the shower was actually cleaned between guests! The price (€95 per room in the off-season) remains outrageous for the amenities. The only real advantage is the extremely central location. We didn't opt for the breakfast buffet (€19 per person) for fear of receiving the same low-quality service as the room.
