This hotel is charming and in a great location, staff is very friendly and it’s nice that they have espresso and coffee at no charge in the lobby. We came during August when it was very hot and although the hotel advertises A/C, it was apparently broken and being fixed our entire 3-day stay - this meant the room was VERY hot (posted 30 degrees one night in our room), which made it difficult to sleep. We upgraded to a suite and it was not at all what the pictures online showed which was a bit disappointing.

The staff were very friendly and available to suggest places to visit. The room was very comfortable.

Exceptional hospitality. Despite a technical issue at the beginning of our stay, the team demonstrated professionalism. A special thank you to Leo for his quick response. All the staff were incredibly attentive. Perfect location for visiting Strasbourg.

I’m incredibly sad that I have to write this review because we had such a lovely time in Strasbourg, and the people at this hotel genuinely were lovely. Very friendly, polite and helpful with all these standard protocols and procedures. However, the air conditioning didn’t work at all. It was over 90 degrees F in our room (we checked the thermostat), and when we opened the windows (which didn’t help) there were people yelling and screaming outside until 3:30 am. We got basically no sleep here. I understand that technical issues arise, and that sometimes in life those are out of your control, but the hotel made virtually no effort to accommodate us. They didn’t ask if we wanted to switch rooms to a lower floor, or provided us with a room fan, or anything at all. It was literally just impossible to sleep. I hope this review will help improve things because it otherwise really is a lovely stay.
