Gayhane at SO36 is a monthly LGBTQ+ party held on the last Saturday of each month at a large, non-profit concert venue and nightclub in Berlin's Kreuzberg.
A younger, mixed crowd of gay men, trans people, and allies show up. They're here to dance and celebrate in a space that feels genuinely welcoming.
What really makes this party different is its music. You won't just hear mainstream European pop; expect a soundtrack that pulls in the latest from Asian, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, and Hebrew artists. It’s a mix that speaks to Kreuzberg’s own diversity, and to Berlin’s long history as a gathering point for queer culture.
SO36 itself is a non-profit, a real fixture in Berlin's independent cultural scene. It puts on concerts and other events all year. So while Berlin has plenty of established gay clubs, Gayhane's more grassroots vibe is a good reminder of the city's range. It's relaxed, it's inclusive, and it’s where you’ll hear global queer culture celebrated on the dance floor.

Can be over crowded, great venue otherwise
Lagwagon really delivered. The best part: the band was close to the audience, and there was only footsteps at the entrance. I think it's great there.
Great evening yesterday at the 'dancing with tears in your eyes 80 party'. Nice atmosphere, not too stuffy. Sometimes the music is a bit too one-sidedly disco-like, but the later it gets in the evening, the better it gets. The DJ then switches to more of a new wave style.
