About this place Gorgonzola Club

Gorgonzola Club is a gay-friendly Italian restaurant in Berlin's Kreuzberg, a neighborhood known for its creative energy and LGBTQ+ community. Opened in 1989, this place is a neighborhood fixture. It’s got a relaxed feel, no pretense. Inside, it's warm and woody, with candlelit tables and rustic walls that give it a cave-like coziness. You can come alone or with friends. The kitchen does homemade Italian food, not just the usual stuff, and you can tell they put effort into it. Prices are reasonable, so it's easy to make this a regular stop or just pop in for a casual dinner. The restaurant moves at its own speed, focused on good food and comfort, not flash or hype. It's a real meal in a real local spot, not somewhere trying to be seen. You can walk here from other Kreuzberg gay institutions like Möbel-Olfe and Roses Bar. It just fits right into the neighborhood's social scene. Find more information, including hours and reservations, at http://www.gorgonzolaclub.de/. The address is 121 Dresdener Straße, Berlin.

Romantic pizzeria in the heart of Kreuzberg.

Quality Italian cuisine in the heart of Kreuzberg. I had some magnificent spaghetti alle amatriciana (€13.50), although without guanciale, and a decent tiramisu (€6.50) for dessert.

A bit expensive for the small portions.

Consistently good food at a very good price. A bit load sometimes but always happy to go back.
