Schampanja is a gay bar on Mauritiuswall in the Bermuda Triangle, Cologne's gay district around Rudolfplatz, directly opposite Ixbar. It's an alternative bar for drinks and conversation rather than a club, and the crowd is mostly in its 30s and 40s. It's open every night from 8pm to 5am, so it often ends up as a late stop after the dance bars nearby. It gets busiest on weekends and during Carnival and Pride (CSD) week.
