Disastrous. The worst hotel experience of our lives. My 73-year-old mother, my sister, and I booked two rooms for the night of May 8th to 9th, 2026. It was a truly disappointing experience! The hotel was in a catastrophic and absolutely unacceptable condition, and in our opinion, it should never have been rented to guests. Upon entering the hotel, dirt, construction materials, and clear signs of construction were visible. The paths to the rooms led through areas that resembled a construction site more than a hotel. Construction materials and food scraps were scattered around the floors. The rooms were also in a condition that we do not consider acceptable: missing covers, missing electrical outlets, exposed wiring, and no privacy screen in the bathroom. What was particularly appalling was that construction work and hotel operations were taking place simultaneously, without any clear separation between them. My mother had explicitly mentioned her mobility issues when booking and inquired about the elevator, which, of course, was out of order when we arrived. Despite this, we were only assigned rooms on the third floor. We therefore left the hotel immediately and had to find alternative accommodation at short notice and at our own expense. Even more disappointing than the condition of the hotel, however, was the way our complaint was handled. No one on-site was available to make a decision, and we received no refund for the nights we had already paid for in full. For us, this was the worst hotel experience of our lives. A lack of transparency, a construction site instead of a functioning hotel, and absolutely no response to our legitimate complaints. Definitely not recommended.

Despite the renovation, the service was excellent, the hotel owner very friendly and helpful, and had to wait a very long time for us to check in because we were traveling by coach that didn't arrive until 1:00 AM. The room was lovely and large, the bathroom was perfect, and the bed was very comfortable. Thumbs up!

A construction site, terrible rooms, broken elevator, overwhelmed staff

We stayed there for one night during our bike tour. Yes, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which is why there's no elevator to the 4th floor. However, they immediately offered to carry our luggage up. In fact, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room had already been renovated and was very nice, although a few minor things were still missing. Definitely recommended for the price.

Despite the renovations, this is a fantastic hotel. All the staff, even the construction workers, were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection. The location in the city center is fantastic, making everything easily accessible. Our room was on the 4th floor and brand new. A wonderful short trip.
