Koloumbos Beach

Koloumbos, also spelled Columbo or Kolumbo, is a quiet beach of dark sand and pebbles below cliffs on the north-east coast, near Oia. Travel Gay and Queer in the World list it as popular with gay visitors, and Greek beach guides describe it as a nudists' favourite. There's no official nudist or gay status, and Greek public-indecency law still applies. Don't expect a beach bar: bring your own water and shade, and keep clear of the cliffs, because rockfall is a known risk on Santorini. There's little around it at night, so it's a daytime trip.
