Loft - HI Eco Hostel & Bar

Very good hostel and good customer service. Alice went out of her way to help me.

It's dirty, it smells, and you can't open the window. The beds aren't made.

Great place to relax, come to use your computer while having some coffee, stay for how cozy it is.

So I never stayed on the hostel so can't give any opinions about that. But the bar is just amazing, it's nostalgic for me personally be because it's the first place I visit after I arrive to Reykjavik. If you wanna see locals and hangout with intention ones go to this bar , amazing view and nice bar . There is a dog 🐶 behind the counter if you'll be lucky you can pet him haha. And they are generous enough to let you in for some time and welcome you with free water as most of the bars in Iceland , and lots of games and events and activities. Thanks loft 😉

Fantastic hostel. Great value. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Reykjavik.

I really liked Loft - HI Eco Hostel & Bar. It has its own quiet personality, and it felt like the kind of place worth telling someone about. I added a QR code in case anyone wants to check out what is happening around it.

A more than acceptable hostel. Clean and centrally located.

Loft is in an awesome location, very close to many interesting places to eat, shop, and explore. It was a bit cold and rainy when I was there, so I didn't get to walk and explore as much as I wanted. Friendly staff, easy to check in. Room was very clean. "Loft-mates" were friendly (though I wish I'd met more people from other countries there, I ended up with 5 other people all from the United States, including from my own home city)
