What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the Skuggi Hotel's excellent location, close to shopping, attractions, and tour pick-up points, as well as its friendly and helpful staff. However, some guests found the rooms to be small with a lack of ventilation in the bathroom, and the breakfast offerings were described as basic with limited hot food options.

The hotel was so quiet we thought we were the only guests until we went for (the excellent) breakfast and discovered it was full. Great location with friendly and helpful staff. Glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Reykjavik.

We were very happy with our stay here. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main street with restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable, although a little on the small side. One minor drawback was the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, which made it quite steamy after showering. The beds were very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection of tasty options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While they occasionally seemed a bit reserved or tired, they were always kind and professional. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel.
