This was a great bar with good music and Josh was great on the horse race game! The drinks were great. Will definitely return for more!

We read the should be the first stop, and it didn't disappoint. The guys are cute behind the bar and in front. The ambiance is amazing. We came here so many times. The best drink was the elderberry martini.

So after a great evening out in the Bord gais theatre myself and my sister Decided to take a taxi ride up to Pennylane for some cocktails to finish off our evening. We arrived at around 10 15pm and there was a nice atmosphere in the bar. I ordered a cocktail for myself & a glass of prosecco for my sister. At 10 40pm I approached the bar again to be greeted by the barman sighing & shaking his head when he saw me approach,I asked for another cocktail (pornstar martini) & I was told, sorry we stop making cocktails at 10 30pm. I asked what time the bar closes he said 11pm. So I said why can I not have a cocktail, it is afterall a cocktail bar, he repeated himself again & said I'm not owner I don't make the rules. This was so disappointing & he was so rude about it. Please Pennylane make it clear in your bar cocktails are not served after 10.30pm & also train your staff on customer service. Definitely won't be back.

I won’t be returning to this place. I asked for a cocktail. The “buff” bartender tells me they’re not making cocktails yet I see them everywhere and they have a cocktail menu. Not sure what the password is to get what a customer orders here. So many other great customer service bars in the same Dublin neighborhood. There’s no room for pretentiousness in the era of social media!

Excellent cocktails in a wonderful bar in a great location with brilliant staff. What more do you want? Wonderful for aperitif or digestif cocktails to build up or wind down from a night out.

Absolutely fabulous cocktails, a lovely venue and very friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend a trip here to sample the cocktails.

I met friends here for drinks on Saturday and it was just wonderful. The cocktails were beautiful and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean and the atmosphere was brilliant. I'll definitely be back!!

Popped here with a friend on a Friday night. Managed to get a table as we walked in. The staff were really nice to deal with. The deco is lovely, and the toilets are really well maintained.

Great atmosphere, lovely decor, friendly & efficient bar staff, great music and a nice smoking area to the front. Would highly recommend
