About this place Euphoria

Euphoria is not a building, it is an event - and by head-count it is the biggest gay club night in Ireland. Once or twice a month it takes over The Button Factory, a proper mid-size concert venue on Curved Street in Temple Bar, and turns it into a full-scale queer club: guest house DJs, drag hosts and production values a level above what a weekly bar night can manage. The crowd is young, big and mixed in the best way - gay, lesbian, trans and their friends, locals and tourists - and the room fills fast, so advance tickets are the smart move. Themed editions, drag showcases and holiday specials rotate through the calendar, which keeps each date feeling like an occasion rather than a routine. Because it is a takeover night, always check the date before you build an evening around it: the Button Factory runs gigs the rest of the month. Euphoria's socials carry the schedule. When it is on, it slots perfectly into a Temple Bar circuit - the Boilerhouse sauna is around the corner on Crane Lane and The George is a five-minute walk up Dame Street.

Never again! I was very disappointed in this event the party was a disaster. Did not start on time the security guards were disgusting they performed a full body search of me and my friend without respect for our privacy in front of everyone they opened my bag even my wallet. extremely rude and aggressive staff. The hall of the club is very dirty and smells disgusting. Very dark inside it is a perfect place for pickpockets. The are no tables to leave your drink for a minutes. The music and the DJ are extremely bad. They just stand in the front and do nothing nobody changes the music for hours. Misleading advertising regarding the DJs. No one of them was a professional DJ. I will never visit the other party organized by Euphoria Dublin in the future.
