"I was not born to share hate, but love." (Sophocles, Antigone) The Antigone bookshop fully lives up to the name of its inspiration: it is an act of rebellion, a hymn to resistance.

An excellent selection of literature on veganism and anti-speciesism, which sets this bookstore apart from others. Freedom concerns everyone, and we're happy to see this awareness on the store's shelves.

I discovered Antigone - Libreria LGBTQIA+ by chance while walking past it, and I immediately wanted to go in. I love browsing in bookstores, taking my time to explore the shelves, and here, it was even more captivating thanks to the selection of books on feminism and the LGBTQIA+ community 🌈. The welcome was warm and friendly. The person there was lovely, and we had a fascinating conversation. I was given time to discover the books at my leisure, without any pressure, in a calm and soothing atmosphere. Everything was clean, tidy, and carefully organized, creating a truly pleasant ambiance. In addition to books, the bookstore offers a variety of charming goodies: flags, keychains, pins, coloring pages, etc. I fell in love with a lesbian flag keychain, and there are three different ones: trans, lesbian, and bi flags. The coloring books are also a real treat; if you enjoy them, you'll love them. I was definitely in my element. Antigone - Libreria LGBTQIA+ may not look like much at first glance, but it's definitely worth a visit. It's a warm, inclusive, and inspiring place that you'll want to return to again and again. Thank you again for the warm welcome.
