Top location in Groningen for short stays for students. Has all the facilities you would expect from a student hotel. Good service and strict hygiene. The rooms are tidy and the price is competitive.

This hotel concept is exceptionally well thought out. The lobby maintains a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere throughout the day and night, creating a strong sense of comfort and energy as guests actively enjoy the space. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, charming, functional, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A standout detail is the quality of the bathroom amenities, which are both luxurious and beautifully scented, adding an extra layer of refinement to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its inviting ambiance, attention to detail, and well-executed concept.

Cozy building and comfortable room with all needs. Cool concept for students and young tourists! We recommend it and would go again if the opportunity will come.

This was the first time I booked an overnight stay at The Social Hub, and it is definitely worth repeating (when I’m back in Groningen)!! I really liked the room; it was spacious and super clean! The bed was also very comfortable. It was super quiet, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere downstairs was also very cozy, and I received a warm welcome. Ideal for people who want to travel solo :) (My only point of criticism was the mattress, which had large yellow stains on it…)

The overnight stay was okay. Unfortunately, quite expensive. The atmosphere was like a youth hostel. The room was large but the street was noisy. Good location, very friendly staff.
