Touring means lots of noise and kids everywhere. The people who work are really nice. Maze inside many rooms and a bit worn down. Some have their own bathroom and some don't. Recommended if you are traveling with a large group. I probably wouldn't sleep here alone.

ENG The hostel's location, entry system, and rooms were all very good. Each bed had its own power outlet and light. However, the beds were a bit wobbly. The bunk beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The kitchen had sufficient equipment and a very nice view. The hostel had many toilets and showers, both separate and shared, so showering and using the toilet was very convenient. There was also a free luggage room where you could leave your bags after check-out. Overall, I stayed at City Hostel twice, once in Sweden and once in Norway. I was satisfied both times. Great hostel, ideal for rail station. Very clean and well maintained. kitchen is well appointed and easy to cook a decent meal from nearby shops.

I stayed here for two nights, and it was a great experience overall. The hostel is very well located, especially for backpackers. It’s just about 250 meters from the central train and bus stations, making it extremely convenient for travel. The main harbor and most of the popular tourist spots are also within walking distance. What I really liked about this hostel is the well-equipped kitchen and the spacious common areas. It’s a great place to relax, meet other travelers, or prepare your own meals. The kitchen has everything you need, including an oven and a microwave, which is perfect for longer stays or if you prefer cooking your own food. The bathrooms are shared and located in the common areas, but they are cleaned regularly and maintained well. For those who prefer more privacy, there are also options to book rooms with private bathrooms. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this hostel, especially for travelers looking for a convenient and social place to stay in Bergen.

Everything was in order and very punctual. The staff were very friendly.

Really good hostel. I’ve booked the 4 bed female dorm. Its spacious and bed is comfortable. Common toilets is the best. I could take my own time to shower and the water is warm even during winter. Has hairdryer too. Every bed has lights and power sockets. And it has a big window in each room. Kitchen is big with lots of pots, stove, oven microwave and fridge. Have to bring your own towel if not you can rent at a fee. They let you store luggage before and after check in/out. Location is good. Walking distance to everywhere. Main train station is 6 mins walking distance. Overall i really recommend it. I loved it. Great experience. Thank you City hostel bergen.

You get what you pay for…. We knew it was cheap (we paid £35 a night) so we were expecting worse tbh. The window was broken, the curtain were hanging off one side, the water took forever to drain away in the sink. But it was fine and we cooked there and walked into town a lot

Excellent location near the train station. Excellent room: warm, very spacious, and the bed was large and super comfortable. (I had a private room.) They stored my luggage before check-in. The best hostel ever is here. Oh! By the way, the room I had was exquisite. A breathtaking panoramic view; I walked into my room and cried tears of joy. 🥰

The location is amazing, but the process is so automated that it feels a little cold

The rooms are small, but the location is very nice.
