The room was lovely and large, the beds very comfortable. The double opening of the shower unit was awkward. The noise from the corridor came into the room a little too well. Very handy for the tram going into Bryggen one way and out to the airport the other but not much of interest in the immediate area.

The hotel is okay. The location is great. The rooms are clean. I don't recommend the breakfast option. It's served by an outside pub. The food quality is very poor. Lack of choice. It's stale.

4 stars for the room in relation to full serviced hotel rooms. Citibox provides communinal facilities. That said the room and bathroom are clean and adequate; not spacious but sufficient. Commensurate with the price really.

Have been to this hotel several times. Always satisfied. Good service and help at the reception…. Although check-in and check-out are very easy and quick to do yourself. The beds are good and have always been very satisfied with the rooms. BUT this time was the first time we bought breakfast. Breakfast for 2 people cost just under NOK 500,- We have been to many hotels at home and abroad, this was the most embarrassing breakfast we have ever experienced. You could have gone to Circle K 100 meters up the street and gotten a much better breakfast for far less than half the price. No orange juice, 1 type of sliced dry bread, scrambled eggs that were like bouncy balls and the smallest selection you can imagine of toppings. Not only that…. The woman who was standing in the kitchen had placed her big dirty bag on the kitchen counter where food is being cooked. In addition to the fact that she was standing with her phone in her hand from the time we arrived until we left. We would definitely choose the hotel again… but the breakfast at the JAJA café next door was embarrassing
