I stayed at this hotel from June 3rd to 6th. The central location and the very friendly and helpful staff were definite highlights. All the employees I interacted with spoke excellent English and were able to answer any questions. The room was clean, and check-in was smooth. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the room. The photos taken during booking showed modern and renovated rooms. In reality, I was assigned a room in the older part of the hotel, which apparently dates back to when it first opened. The furnishings looked quite dated and did not live up to the expectations set by the photos. The bathroom was very small, and due to the low ceiling, there was a constant noise of sewage running from the shower drain. Additionally, the room was quite noisy, as noises from the lobby and other guests could be heard until late in the evening. The bed, at 1.40 meters wide, was sufficient for me alone, but it would have been very cramped for two people. When I inquired about a different room, the staff responded very politely and explained that the renovated rooms were already fully booked. However, this is precisely where I see the problem: It wasn't apparent to me during the booking process that there was a renovated section and a significantly older section of the hotel. Overall, I felt more like I was staying in a modern hostel than a traditional hotel. Those looking for exactly that will probably be satisfied. However, anyone expecting a modern hotel room based on the pictures might be disappointed. Regarding the location: The hotel is very centrally located, and many attractions are easily accessible. However, on my way between the tram stop and the hotel, I was approached several times by people asking for money or trying to sell me something. Of course, the hotel can't be held responsible for this, but it's something other travelers should consider when choosing accommodation. Greater transparency in the presentation of the different room categories would prevent later disappointments.

What a terrible hotel they ripped me off! After checking out, I left a T-shirt in the room that means a lot to me. I was still in Oslo for two more days, and I could have picked up the T-shirt, so I called right away to ask them to check the room, and then go there to pick up the T-shirt, but they refused me twice and told me to write a letter requesting a search and return. I had already left Oslo and realized that they had simply kept my item and didn’t want to return it. I know for sure that I left it at that hotel, I called them right away, but they simply decided not to return it. It’s was room 705. If you don't want to get robbed, don't choose this hotel
