Kitsch

Kitsch is Kraków's main gay club and provides the dancing and late-night energy that the more relaxed bar venues in Kazimierz do not. The club runs primarily on Friday and Saturday nights, with a mixed queer crowd that draws from Kraków's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and trans communities alongside the student population of one of Poland's largest university cities. The music is mainstream gay: pop, commercial house, and the kind of broadly appealing playlist that makes a Kraków night out genuinely enjoyable for a mixed crowd. Kitsch is not Luzztro in scale, and Kraków is not Warsaw — but for a city of 800,000 with a growing LGBTQ+ scene, Kitsch provides a real club night that rewards visiting. The club is at its best during the Equality March week in May, when the influx of visitors and the post-march energy combine to produce something considerably more charged than a regular weekend.
