About this place ZARPA

On Calle de las Infantas, this Madrid gay bar and club is a welcome mat for LGBTQ+ travelers wanting to hit the city’s nightlife.

Madrid’s made itself one of Europe’s most gay-friendly cities. Its scene’s largely in Chueca, where this spot is. The neighborhood’s got a reputation for being open, with plenty of places and a local culture that’s easy to step into.

This place is a bar and a club, so you can hang out, dance, meet locals, or just talk to other people visiting. Madrid’s gay bars and clubs usually have a range of vibes throughout the week, whether you’re after a chill drink or a full-on dance night. They’re generally friendly spots, where you can just be yourself.

Before you go, check the venue’s website for hours or if they’ve got anything special happening. Being in Chueca, it’s also easy to link up a night here with other gay-friendly bars, restaurants, and shops nearby.

The guy at the entrance is really rude. I wouldt recommend this spot to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The doorman was unpleasant. He has absolutely no manners. Learn how to treat people or don't work in customer service. Have some empathy, or at least try. He's arrogant, overbearing, and has no manners. Response: (No intention to lie) Instead of saying that everyone lies, as I see in other reviews, and telling people they're not important, have the humility to improve. Whoever is at the door, whatever their role, is rude. He's rude, and you're another one.
