Overall, the stay was average. The room was fine, although the soundproofing was not great, and the service generally did not feel very warm or welcoming. Two incidents particularly stood out. In the morning, we heard the housekeeping staff warmly greeting and chatting with other guests, but when my girlfriend and I came out, we received no greeting or even a smile. We normally would not care, but the obvious contrast unfortunately made us wonder whether being Asian affected how we were treated. Secondly, breakfast was included in our booking and confirmed at check-in. However, when we arrived, nobody greeted us, and I had to wave for attention. A staff member then incorrectly told us breakfast was not included. After checking again, she simply said we could have it, without any apology. It felt as though we were being given a favour rather than receiving something we had already paid for. Combined with staff arguing loudly during breakfast, the overall experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable.

A great stay at the DoubleTree Belfast City Ten Square. The hotel feels modern and fresh, with stylish décor throughout and a really comfortable room. I was in Belfast for work and found the room particularly good for working from, which isn’t always the case with hotels. The location is excellent too very central and just a short walk from Belfast City Hall, restaurants, bars and plenty of places to explore. The restaurant and bar are modern and welcoming, but the standout for me was the staff. Everyone I dealt with was genuinely warm, friendly and helpful, which made the stay that little bit better. Worth noting that the rooftop bar is only open at weekends, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to experience it during my midweek stay. Very comfortable, great location and excellent service. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in Belfast.

Upon arrival, the toilets were clogged. There was no number to contact reception. Luckily, I found a cleaning lady. The hotel is centrally located. The breakfast is plentiful. But overall, it wasn't good value for money.

You can't go wrong with the Hilton. Fantastic room, friendly staff, and wonderfully soft beds. The only downside is that the rooftop bar only has one table outside; otherwise, it's just standing room and smoking. The rest of the bar is inside.

Pros: Large room and bathroom, comfortable beds, clean, good location, and super friendly staff. Cons: While they have Wi-Fi, they charge extra for a good connection.

Most friendly and helpful staff, asked to put a temporary bed in the room and it was no hassle, the rooms with a view are amazing, been to a few hotels in belfast over the years but I'll be reserving this hotel in future, see you next year 👍
