Wonderful place, wonderful people.

Townhouse Exeter is a perfectly executed oasis within walking distance of train stations, the cathedral, shopping and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet nights sleep, the clever and delicious 'breakfast in your pajamas' and our hosts. We will definitely stay again.

I’ve never been to Exeter before, and this is the place to stay when you go. Out of all the hotels I visited in the UK, this was by far the nicest. Ken and his staff were so lovely, and everything from the location to my room was exactly what I wanted traveling solo. If you’re coming to Exeter, trust me, book directly through their website ✨

I had a lovely night at the Townhouse. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into furnishing and decorating their rooms, and the hosts were very friendly and perfect at communicating the arrival process. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay, the service and cleanliness were impeccable. The room and bathroom were small but basic, quiet, and clean. Close to the center and in a quiet area. Recommended.

This was my second stay at Townhouse Exeter. I like everything about it - the friendly, helpful team; the location; the tastefully decorated rooms with super comfy beds; the option for breakfast delivered to your room (which is delicious); help with parking; and, reasonable rates. Would definitely recommend!

Had a perfect stay, had a late check in and the process was very straight forwards. Lovely room and bathroom, comfy bed and friendly staff.

Really lovely rooms. Decorated with character and convenience. Rooms had everything you needed. And while the reception hours are limited, it is super easy to check in after hours and staff were helpful, with great communication. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was clean. For the price paid, for Exeter especially, it was great value. I would also book directly with them next time to support a great local business.
