Situated opposite Exeter Central this is ideal if you want to travel by train. Car parking is £12.50 a night but is limited. We arrived at 12.30pm and there were a few spaces. It's a really nice old building but clean. Unfortunately in the daycare arrived the life was out of order, but we'd already been informed by email. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly when we went to pay the parking fee. She checked and our room was ready. She said there would be a party later on and she'd put us on the first floor far away from the noise. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. The only noise was from the pigeons outside, which was fine. Er coild havd boojed breakfast gor a fee but we had other plans. We will return here on our next trip to Exeter.

The biggest disappointment was that the pictures of the rooms were wrong, and we ultimately couldn't use the bathroom. Instead of a refund, the hotel ignored us. We would have liked to have spent our time there.

Booked out the Cavendish Suite for a University Society Event. Food, staff and location were all amazing, would strongly recommend for society bookings!
