About this place Queens Court Hotel

Queens Court Hotel is a small, independent townhouse hotel on Bystock Terrace, a quiet square just off the city centre in Exeter. It is a mainstream hotel listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Reviews are good, at 4.5 on Google from around 300 guests. Exeter Central station is a few minutes' walk away, and the cathedral, High Street and Gandy Street's bars and restaurants are all reachable on foot. Parking in central Exeter is limited, so ask about it when booking if you are driving. It makes a sensible base for day trips to Dartmoor and the Devon coast.

An unforgettable birthday stay! I had the most perfect stay here for my birthday! From the moment I arrived, the amazing staff went above and beyond to make sure my day felt incredibly special. My room was absolutely lovely—clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Every single detail of the weekend was handled flawlessly, making it a truly seamless and perfect stay. If you want top-tier service and a wonderful experience, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to the team for making my birthday complete!

We had a wonderful stay at the Queens Court Hotel in Exeter and would highly recommend it! The rooms were very comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the hotel itself has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The location is fantastic – perfect for exploring the city, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within easy walking distance. A special shout-out to Alfie on front of house, who was absolutely brilliant. He was so eager to please, incredibly polite, and nothing was too much trouble. He really went out of his way to make us feel at home – his excellent service made our stay even better. Thank you Queens Court and especially Alfie! We'll definitely be back.
