Aylestone Meadows

Aylestone Meadows is a large area of nature reserve, canal towpath and playing fields south of Leicester city centre, off Aylestone Road. Its quieter car park and wooded paths have long been noted in gay listings as an outdoor cruising ("cottaging/beat") spot, with activity most often reported from late afternoon into the evening. It is a public space shared with dog-walkers, cyclists and families, so discretion and awareness of surroundings are essential.
