ibis London Blackfriars
Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent location, noting its proximity to tube stations and attractions, and describe the staff as friendly and the breakfast as good. However, some guests found the rooms to be small and the bathrooms to have a peculiar, pod-like design.

If any allergies don’t bother with breakfast. Never knew anywhere so unhelpful they didn’t even offer me an allergy menu, no allergy labelling on the food. I asked for eggs without milk, a very simple request a lot of other hotels can do and they refused with no alternative. Also the coffee is from a machine with milk powder thus cross contamination I was reassured was separate and it definitely wasn’t and wasn’t offered an alternative. Have stayed here previously and had ok experiences and it’s a decent location I won’t be bothering again. Also the floor in my room wasn’t clean with obvious mud on the floor
Stayed for a day here, got a great deal for Sunday night, they were kind enough to provide me with a complimentary late checkout as a perk for my Accor gold membership. The only issue I found was that they were not able to take points as payment for breakfast. Otherwise, everything worked out really well - the location was really nice too with tube stations next door and the great views of London from blackfriars bridge.
The hotel is very well located, clean, and the staff is very friendly. The bathroom is in a small plastic box. It takes some getting used to, especially the toilet flush, which is very loud. But it's excellent value for money; you can't have everything at that price.
