Weston Park (cruising)

Weston Park, the Victorian park between the University of Sheffield and the city centre, has a long-standing reputation as an after-dark gay cruising spot and is documented on PinkUK and dedicated cruising guides. Activity is discreet and centres on the quieter, wooded areas in the late evening rather than during busy daytime hours. Sheffield and the UK are broadly welcoming to LGBTQ+ people, but as with any outdoor meeting place use common sense: stay in areas you can leave easily, be aware of your surroundings, respect other park users and note that public sexual activity remains against the law. Long-standing but informal.
