The short version: Warsaw has five gay bars and clubs worth knowing, all in the city centre, plus two gay-friendly places that queer crowds use. There is no gay street. Most nights start around Plac Zbawiciela and end on Mazowiecka or near Rondo ONZ. Details below come from the venues' own sites, Travel Gay, misterb&b and In Your Pocket, checked in November 2026.
Gay clubs
La Pose (Mazowiecka 6/8) is a restaurant and cocktail bar by day and a queer club and stage at night, over three floors. The programme runs drag, ballroom, burlesque and karaoke, so what you get depends on the night; check lapose.pl. Google reviewers give it 4.0 from about 1,700 reviews.
Glam (Żurawia 22, now signed Glam 2.0) has been open since 2010. Travel Gay lists Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 22:00 to 06:00: commercial pop, drag on Fridays, karaoke and bingo midweek, a young crowd. Reviews complain about the door and prices, so carry ID and check the bill.
Metropolis (Sienkiewicza 7) is a gay club with two dance floors and a chill-out room, open on Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 06:00 according to Travel Gay. Big nights such as New Year's Eve are ticketed in advance.
Crush is in the basement of Hala Mirowska (plac Mirowski 1), the former home of Galeria, one of Warsaw's oldest gay clubs. It runs karaoke, drag shows and weekend parties. It has little online presence, so check its social media before going.
Bars
Lodi Dodi (Wilcza 23) calls itself a gay cocktail bar. The ground floor is one counter and about twenty people; Travel Gay also mentions lower levels with a darkroom, which the current website doesn't advertise. Evenings from 19:00.
Ramona (Widok 18) is a gay-friendly café-bar with retro decor, cheap food and a pop playlist. Travel Gay gives hours of 16:00 to 02:00, to 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. It suits an early drink or a whole evening of talking.
Later and mixed
Luzztro (Aleje Jerozolimskie 6) is a mainstream after-hours techno club, gay-friendly, busiest after 04:00 at weekends. Jasna 1 is a mainstream electronic club that hosts some nights run by queer collectives. For a darkroom, the place is Instytut, the gay cruise bar on Prosta, open nightly from 19:00.
Closed or changed
Galeria now trades as Crush. Closed: codeRED, Bunkier, Utopia, Le Garage, Toro, Wild Club, Kino Warsztat and Fantom. Names like "Le Madame", "Tazz" or "Tęcza Bar" on AI-written travel sites are not open bars.
Tips
- Clubs fill after midnight; bars are busier from 21:00.
- Door staff at Glam and Metropolis can be strict. Bring ID.
- All of these are within about 25 minutes of each other on foot.
